Purpose: To learn about Wi-Fi and browsers, to browse and use a hotspot, to search smartly, and to translate text between languages.

  • How to identify the browser icon and the Windows UI.

      1. What does browsing mean? How do you connect to the internet using Wi-Fi?

      Exercise 2


      1. Gather information about four national leaders in four different tabs within one browser window. Move from one page to another using the forward and backward arrows at the top left of the browser.

      2. Search from a browser for our national song and national flag, and save them to your local drive.

      Exercise 3


      1. Gather information about the given image of leaves, using smart search in a browser window and on a phone.

    1. Teachers should teach how to connect to the internet using a mobile hotspot and how to open a browser.
    2. Show students that there are several different browsers, such as Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
    3. Teach them to open a new tab in the browser window and search for other information in that new tab.
    4. Teachers should teach how to navigate from one page to another using the backward and forward arrows.
    5. Show how to search for and save a specific picture or piece of information.
    6. Show how to open a separate tab in the same browser and open new information in that tab.
    7. How does AI decide the correct meaning of a word when the same word can have several meanings?
    8. How does AI decide which order to show search results in, and which is the best match?
